Before you start

You can use this form to report a non-emergency problem with a street light. You can also report problems affecting multiple street lights.

If a street light is electrically or structurally unsafe it is classed as an emergency. Examples of an emergency include: exposed wires or missing door; hanging lantern; loose or leaning column; or if the problem was caused by a road traffic accident. So that we can fix the problem quickly, you should contact us, via telephone on: 0300 131 2 131 (or dial 999 if outside office hours) rather than completing the online form.

To reduce our street lighting energy consumption, some lights switch off between midnight and 5am, whilst others are dimmed.

You can access our street lighting page for general information about street lighting.

It should only take you a few minutes to complete this form. Please do not provide personal information unless specifically requested.
